Maniac Mansion was developed and published by LucasArts (now Lucasfilm Games) in 1987. Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders was released in 1988. The game follows the story of Zak McKracken, a tabloid journalist who uncovers a conspiracy involving ancient artifacts and an alien race trying to take over the world. The game features a wide variety of locations and puzzles, as well as a unique sense of humor and quirky characters. The game also introduced the concept of using multiple items together to solve puzzles.
Zak McKracken is available for PC, while Maniac Mansion is available for PC and NES.
