In Net Yaroze Month, we are playing every Net Yaroze game featured on the UK Official Playstation Magazine, and ranking them all in the order we liked them. You may have other opinions as to the ranking, which is awesome.

To learn more about Net Yaroze, read our introductory article here.

Blockz is a puzzle game, which is part jigsaw, part tetris. You need to place each set of blocks on the board, with the aim of making a 3×3 square of the same colour.

The idea seems good in theory, but I couldn’t get on with it. The main stumbling block (pun not intended) is that once you place a block, you can’t move a block over the top of it, meaning its very easy to block the entrance where your blocks come out of. (I’m not intentionally using the word block as much as I am)
