Listened to this in the car on the way to a job last week. I've always thought of Ballblazer as one of the top rated games on the C64 but I could never get on with it and personally thought it was ok. I thought maybe it was just me and I could not play it. I am glad you kinda thought the same that the control seems all over the place and it has such a weird view where the CPU drone would be spinning around in front of you.

A good technical game and boy did the Lucasfilm Games team but a whole bunch of work in to the back story. I also never knew that it was published first in the US by Epyx, every day is a school day!
