“The Sol-20 was the first microcomputer as we would know it these days. It had a built-in keyboard and television output. Prior to this, you would need a separate terminal to communicate with the computer. The computer was designed by Lee Felsenstein (who would later design the first portable computer, The Osborne-1) and Bob Marsh.
