Playdate Dock release seems unlikely to be released in the near future

The much-anticipated Playdate dock, a stylish accessory for Panic Inc.’s quirky handheld gaming console, may not be coming out anytime soon. Despite its initial announcement in 2021, Panic co-founder Cabel Sasser recently acknowledged the challenges surrounding its production. Manic Miner comes to Playdate

Eighties-8-bit legend, Manic Miner has been converted to Panic’s Playdate handheld. Manic Miner was originally launched on the ZX Spectrum by Matthew Smith in 1983. San Francisco designer and manufacturer WaterField Designs have announced a new Playdate Magnetic Case, a protective case to carry the popular Panic gaming console and its power cord. “Our customers and social media followers have been clamoring for a classy Playdate case, so we’ve designed a unique one I think they’ll appreciate,” said company owner WaterField launch Magnetic Playdate Case in variety of materials
