Wallobee Jack: The Bingi Burra Stone
Windows 3

The first Wallobee Jack adventure involves adventurer Jack and his friend Francesca Felini who have set on an adventure across the Australian continent out to find a mysterious artifact, the “Bingi Burra” stone. Advertised as “the world’s first interactive cartoon”, the interactive element is of course very low. The system used, called “Quicklick” or “Q.I.S.”, uses the mouse pointer to indicate whether a sequence is non-interactive or if it’s possible to change the direction of the story, in which case the pointer turns into a looking glass. The pointer changes again if the looking glass is over an interactive spot on the screen.
