The Acorn Atom is a home computer designed by Acorn Computers Ltd. The computer was released in 1980 in Europe at a retail price ranging from £120 to £200, depending on the package bought. The computer was not released outside of Europe. The Atom was Acorn’s first computer to be aimed squarely at the home market. The computer was manufactured until an unspecified time in 1983.
