Retro Games Ltd have partnered with Koch Media to create a Plug-n-Play Commodore 64 and Vic 20 Hybrid, to be launched this December.
The company previously released TheC64Mini, which was a small Plug-n-Play console featuring multiple games. However, the upcoming product features a full-size working keyboard and is a replica of the famous “Bread Bin” C64 Form.
The product, named THEC64, features three modes: Game Carousel, where you can choose from 64 games; VIC-20 mode and Commodore 64 mode. As well as the built-in games, THEC64 allows you to load and save your own files and games via USB stick (including multi-disk titles) and program in C64 or VIC-20 BASIC.

The device will output to HDMI, and includes an updated joystick, now featuring micro switches.
THEC64 will be available from December from Amazon (UK, Germany, Italy), Game (UK, Spain) and Gamestop (Ireland, Italy). We’ll add more stockist details when we get them
