We have now added these new games to the AtariAge Store, and you can order them today! We’ll work hard to make sure any games you order in November will arrive in time for Christmas if you’re in the US. Outside the US shipping times are a bit more unpredictable, but the earlier you order, the better your odds.
The new games are:
(Atari 2600, NTSC only)
Balloon Trip is a one player game in which you need to collect as many balloons as possible, while avoiding sparks and sharks! Balloon Trip was coded by Bluswimmer with packaging design by Vladimir Zuñiga.
Dungeon II: Solstice
Dungeon II: Solstice is the sequel to Dungeon, the popular dungeon crawl game by David Weavil released in 2009.
Froggie is a clone of Frogger, which was never ported to the Atari 7800. This version was coded by Matthias Luedtke.
Mappy is a port of the unique arcade game of the same name, brought over to the 2600 by John W. Champeau, whose previous Atari 2600 efforts include Super Cobra Arcade, Scramble, Conquest of Mars, and Lady Bug.
Coded by Ryan Witmer, RealSports Curling supports up to 8 players and features a skilled computer opponent. Players must carefully aim and sweep their shots while adjusting to changing strategic situations. Games range in length from 1 to 10 ends.
Serpentine is an original maze game, programmed by David Snider and ported to the Atari 7800 by Mike Saarna. Serpentine features 20 different mazes, and a high score table.
