Atari 2600 homebrew action game, Jurl, gets release on modern platforms.

Jurl was originally released on the Atari 2600 in 2020, and is an simple action game where you need to collect space diamonds and avoid aliens and obstacles. The game has now been made available for modern platforms by the author.

The author of the game is Johnny Blanchard, who you may know as the man behind the Re:Enthused website and Youtube channel, as well as the founder of the retrochat.online Mastodon instance.

You play as Jurl Hogrind, the greatest Space Diamond miner in the galaxy and you’re going to get those diamonds no matter what any government says about going into dangerous areas and risking the earths destruction by interfering with the peace process.
