It turns out that the thing hanging off the side of Horace isn’t his arm

Horace, yesterday.

Shocking news for fans of the hungry skiier, Horace – star of games such as Hungry Horace and Horace goes Skiing. It has come to light that the bit on the side of Horace isn’t his arm – it’s a rat tail.

Horace fan Neil Wright spoke to Alfred Milgrom – founder of Horace’s publisher, Beam Games.

Wright asked:

Hi Alfred. Could you help settle a lifelong question of mine? Horace – is the appendage an arm, a flap or something else? Many thanks!!!

To which Milgrom replied:

Hahahaha – It’s a rattail. Wikipedia defines it as :”A rattail is a hair style that is characterized by a long “tail”-like element of hair growing downward from the back of the head. The rattail usually hangs naturally; however, it can be braided, treated as a dread, permed, straightened, or poofed, curled with an iron.” Hope that settles it for you!

Wright adds: “This has shattered my worldview and I’ll never trust my own eyes and thoughts again.”
