Jim Orlando ports classic game, Space Panic, to PET

The Commodore PET finally has it’s own version of Space Panic, called PET Panic! thanks to Jim Orlando.

Space Panic was launched in the arcades in 1980, and was the first game that involved climbing ladders between platforms. The game was cloned on most 8-bit platforms, most notably by Apple Panic, released on the Apple II and other platforms, and Mastertronic’s Hektik on the VIC-20, C64 and C16 platforms.

In the game you need to catch a monster in a hole that you’ve dug, and then bash it on the head to the level below.

You can download PET Panic!, here.
