Net Yaroze Month: PingPing

In Net Yaroze Month, we are playing every Net Yaroze game featured on the UK Official Playstation Magazine, and ranking them all in the order we liked them. You may have other opinions as to the ranking, which is awesome.

To learn more about Net Yaroze, read our introductory article here.

PingPing is a bat-and-ball tennis type game reminscient of Pong, but instead of viewing from above, you view it from the side, making it more in common with first-video-game-candidate, Tennis for Two.

More fun in two-player mode than against the computer.

Matt Verran is proving himself a Yaroze powerhouse, as the brains behind Robot Ron and Roller, both currently in our top ten. Though PingPing looks awesome and is a nice take on Pong, I’m unsure as to its replayability.
