In Net Yaroze Month, we are playing every Net Yaroze game featured on the UK Official Playstation Magazine, and ranking them all in the order we liked them. You may have other opinions as to the ranking, which is awesome.
To learn more about Net Yaroze, read our introductory article here.
If you’ve played Kick Off or Sensible Soccer, then you will be familiar with how you play Total Soccer. It plays very similar to those two games, and you can adjust how high up the camera is, so you can get it looking more like Kick Off, or more like Sensi!
All the teams and players in the game have slight mis-spellings, so expect to see teams like Luvarpool and Minchaster Utd.
None of this distracts from the game though, which is almost as fun as Sensi on the Amiga when playing in two player mode.
The game was apparently converted from a previous Windows game written by Chapman.
Game: Total Soccer Yaroze

Chapman went on to make more versions of Total Soccer to Windows, and a version for the Game Boy Color. Later he worked on various handheld and mobile versions of FIFA, and now is the owner of First Touch games who specialise in soccer games, and are most known for mobile game, Score Hero.
